A lifelong resident of Prince George, Garth is an entrepreneur, post-secondary educator, community volunteer, and experienced municipal leader who has dedicated decades to helping his community grow stronger.

The heart of Garth’s life is his family. He and his wife, Sue, have built a long and lasting partnership grounded in love, respect, and shared values. Together, they have made Prince George their home, raising a family and building deep roots in the community they cherish.
When he’s not serving the community, Garth enjoys riding his motorcycle and writing.
Garth has never stopped giving back. During wildfire evacuations, when families were forced to leave their homes, he volunteered his time to assisting where needed, everything from reaching out to evacuating communities to walking evacuated pets so owners could focus on caring for their loved ones, knowing their animals were safe and cared for.
These acts reflect the kind of person he is: someone who quietly steps forward when help is needed without seeking recognition or expecting anything in return.
